Pretoria Capital City Half Day Tour
A lot of history is found within the city.The administrative capital city South
Africa. The first stop will be a visit to the Voortrekker Monument, built and completed
in 1949, commemorating the Great Trek, which set out from Cape Town in 1836. Guests
will have the opportunity to wonder through the museum connected to the Monument.
The Paul Kruger House is the next stop. This house was once the home to the president
of South Africa, Paul Kruger, from 1883 to 1900. The house was given to him by his
followers, whom he greeted from the wide verandah. Other places visited on the tour
are the Victorian style Melrose House, as well as Church Square and the Union Buildings,

Gold Reef City Half Day Tour
The visit to Gold Reef City will commence with a visit to the museum. A Gold Reef
City Guide will meet the group upon their arrival, and guide them around the City.
The City dates back to the gold rush era of 1888 and 1889 when fortunes were made
in minutes and men died of greed and cirrhosis of the liver.
Amongst others, guests will be able to see the “Public House”, a Chinese Laundry,
an old-fashioned newspaper as well as an early example of the stock exchange, dating
back to the gold rush days. Following this, the guests will be taken down into a
“gold mine”, descending 210 meters to Kimberley Reef, where a demonstration is given
on how gold is mined, and it will be explained and demonstrated how gold is poured.

Soweto Township Half Day Tour
Johannesburg’s twin city populated exclusively by black people is Soweto (an acronym
for South-Western Townships). It is the largest black township in the country consisting
of 26 townships, each of which was designed to be independent. The township of Soweto
as a whole could be called multiracial, in the sense that its residents are from
all the tribes in South Africa.
The type of housing ranges from shacks to large mansions and there is one street
where you can find the houses of two Nobel Peace Prize winners; Nelson Mandela and
Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Also located in Soweto is the Chris Hani-Baragwanath Hospital,
thought to be the largest hospital in the southern hemisphere but despite this,
almost 85% of the local residents still consult traditional healers who concoct

Lesedi Cultural Village Half Day Tour
Set in the rural Bushveld, Lesedi Cultural Village offers a taste of Africa with

Rhino & Lion Park Half Day Tour
Guests are transferred to the Rhino and Lion Park to the north west of Johannesburg
where 600 head of game roam an area of 1600 hectares. Here Rhino, Wild dogs, Cheetah
and the large African Lion can be viewed. There are also numerous species of antelope
in the park. Guest will also have the once in a lifetime opportunity to play and
take pictures with lion, cheetah and tiger cubs.

Pilanesberg Reserve Full Day Tour
From the Hotel, guests will be transferred to the Pilansberg National Park, where
they will have the opportunity to spot some, maybe all, of the Big 5: Lion, Leopard,
Rhino, Elephant and Buffalo. Upon arrival at the Park the guest will be in an closed
air-conditioned vehicle, guided by a qualified ranger.
The Safari takes about 3 – 4 hours. Lunch will be served at the Bakabung Restaurant.

A 2 hour drive away from Pretoria & Johannesburg, the magic of Sun City awaits.
After being transferred onto a Sun City bus, guests will be taken on a tour of the
complex. Some places visited will be the Palace of the Lost City, and a number of
other hotels and the Valley of the Waves. Upon return to the “Welcome Centre”, the
numerous shops can be explored. Guests will also have the opportunity to try their

The Elephant Sanctuary Half Day Tour
From the Hotel, guests will be transferred to the Elephant Sanctuary near the Hartebeespoort
Dam, west of Pretoria. Here they will meet the inhabitants of the sanctuary, Maroela,
Mosadi, Kumba, Jabu and Thandi. Elephants are extremely intelligent animals, and
an experienced guide will take visitors through an educationally oriented elephant
experience, and afford you the privilege of getting to know them personally.
After a walk with the elephants, guest will be served lunch at the Sanctuary. Following
lunch, it is off to the nearby African Market, a market catering for everyone’s

Cullinan Diamond Mine Half Day Tour
Guests are transferred to Cullinan, where a diamond mine will be visited. The town
and the mine was named after Sir Thomas Cullinan, founder of the largest diamond
in the world, one of 3 106 carats, found on 25 January 1905.
Weighing in at 530.20 carats, the Great Star of Africa (pictured here) was cut from
the Cullinan and was named after Sir Thomas Cullinan, (chair of the mining company)
together with 104 other stones in 1908. The largest cut diamond, it adorns the sceptre
of King Edward VII and is kept in the Tower of London. Depart: 08:30 & 13:00 Daily.

Cradle of Humankind / Sterkfontein Caves
It was there in 1947 that Dr. Robert Broom made the discovery of one of the first
ape-man fossils. In 1998, the 3.5million year-old “little foot” was discovered.
